President Akufo-Addo Holds Talks With King Mohammed VI Today

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today, Friday, February 17, hold bilateral talks with King Mohammed VI, before hosting him to an official lunch at the Presidency.

King Mohammed VI, of the Kingdom of Morocco, arrived in Ghana on Thursday, February 16, 2017, for a three-day official visit.

He was met on arrival by the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Foreign Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway and some government officials.

The King's visit, which is aimed at deepening the existing, cordial relations between Ghana and Morocco, will also present the two countries with an opportunity to define new areas of co-operation that would serve their mutual interests.

King Mohammed VI will depart for Morocco on Saturday, February, 18, 2017.
