Nkrabeah Effah Datteh, Counsel for Aisha Huang
Counsel for Aisha Huang and four others who are facing trial for an alleged illigal mining, Nkrabeah Effah Datteh has told an Accra High Court that the third accused person could not appear in court since he fell off from a moving vehicle.
He is currently on admission at Adiebra hospital in Kumasi.
He has therefore asked for a medical report to that effect.
Mr. Effah Datteh however, prayed the Court to adjourned the case since one of his client is indisposed due to I'll health.
The prosecution Mercy Arthur objected to the decision of counsel Effah Datteh saying that she is disappointed with the turns of events since this is the second time counsel is asking for adjournment.
She said there is no medical report currently confirming the accident of the accused and subsequent admission to the hospital.
She prayed the Court to put the accused persons back into prisons custody if they fail to comply with the bail conditions.
Counsel Effah Datteh told the Court for another chance since he will talk to his clients to take good of them selves so they could make themselves available to court.
The presiding judge Edward Ekow Baiden adjourned the case to the 10th of next month to complete with the cross examination.
