Ashanti Region: Staff of Attorney General's Department on sit down strike

Staff of the Attorney General's Department in the Ashanti region are on a sit down strike to protest delays in the payment of their allowances. 

The allowances which are in arrears for two years include fuel loading and leave allowances. 

Radio ghana’s Ashanti Regional correspondent, Nicholas Osei Wusu, spoke to the administrator of the Attorney General's Department for Ashanti region, Aliu Cissey. 

He says after 7th of this month no staff will report to duty if their grievances are not addressed.
