Commuters Express Joy As Rehabilitation Of Adomi Bridge Progresses

Commuters from the Northern, Volta and Eastern, parts of the country have expressed joy as they observed the fixing of the twelfth steel deck on the Adomi Bridge over the Volta River.

With the fixing of the twelfth steel deck, the contractors, Bilfinger from Austria are left with eleven to complete the drive ways.

The Project Manager, Dr. Pool Herman said after completion of the fixing of the deck, the main construction will now be focused on the sides of the bridge before changing cables, which are supporting the arch.
