NDC denies new party office cost reports

The General Secretary of the NDC, Asiedu Nketia, has denied media reports that the new party office was built at the cost of $ 20 million. 

He described the reports as blatant lies. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Nketia said the office was built because the party could not continue to operate from a rented premise. 

This is because the rent is very expensive. 

Mr Asiedu Nketia challenged people behind the cooking of figures pertaining to the alleged cost of the new office complex to come forward and defend their figures. 

He wished the NPP well in the forthcoming National Delegate Congress on Saturday and said it is a plus for democracy.
