NDC wishes NPP well on their elections The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sent its best wishes to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the NPP goes to the polls to elect a flagbearer for the party in the 2016 elections. A statement signed by Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah the General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), said “We share in the joy and challenges associated with this august event which undoubtedly constitute a major event in the country’s electoral process.” According to the statement, the NDC reminds the NPP that a successful outcome of their conference would serve as a boost to the global recognition of Ghana as a beacon of democracy in Africa. The statement said the party therefore encourages the NPP to “conduct this election in a free, transparent and fair manner.
