President Mahama meets UN Officials over Ebola‏


President John Mahama earlier today met a team of United Nations Officials led by the Chief of Staff at the UN Headquarters, Sussana Malkarra. 

The meeting discussed the UN's efforts towards tackling the Ebola Virus Disease. The UN is using Accra as the logistics base for its Emergency Response Against Ebola in the West African Region. 

President Mahama announced that ECOWAS will hold a Heads of State Summit next month to access the current situation and review strategies been implemented to help curb Ebola.
