Provisional Results of NPP Presidential Primaries from some regions Voting in the NPP Presidential Primaries ended in Brong-Ahafo with two time Flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo winning in landslide fashion in most of the 29 Constituencies in Brong-Ahafo. In the Sunynai East Constituency. Nana Addo garnered 736 votes with Addai Nimo getting seven votes, while Alan Kyeremateng raked in 36 votes. A total of 14, 500 plus Delegates voted in the NPP’s Presidential Primaries. At the GNAT Hall in Sunyani where the Sunyani East Constituency held its voting, the exercise took off at seven am with about eight delegates waiting in line. Within two hours of the start 211 people had voted, while the queue had grown in length spilling into the street. A similar situation unfolded in the Sunyani West where out of the 675 on the role, 41 had voted by 7:50 am. When the dust finally settled, GBC24 witnessed the sorting counting and declaration of the votes Sunyani east event. The results which had Nana Addo garnering 736 votes to Addai Nimo’s seven and Alan Kyeremateng’s 36. The results sent the supporters of the former Flag bearer into wild jubilation. Meanwhile results coming in from the other constituencies in Brong-Ahafo portend a landslide victory for Nana Addo. In Sunyani West, Nana got 286 votes while Addai Nimo received five votes with Alan getting ten votes. Tano South saw Nana Addo garnering 569 votes, Addai Nimo, six and Alan Kyeremateng eleven. Tano North, had Nana Addo getting 467, Addai Nimo, 2 and Alan Kyeremateng 26. The story from Berekum West went like this, Nana Addo, 228, Addai Nimo 5 and Alan Kyeremateng 10. In some more constituency results, in Jaman North, Nana got 385,Addai Nimo 13 and Alan Kyeremateng 47. Some of the Constituencies of the New Patriotic Party in the Eastern Region have completed counting the ballot papers in their presidential primaries held throughout the region today. In the Abuakwa North Constituency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had 324 votes, Allan Kyerematen had five votes, and Francis Addae Nimo, zero, with one rejected ballot paper. In the Nsawam Adoagyiri-constituency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had 500 votes, Allan Kyerematen had four votes, and Francis Addae Nimo had one vote. There were three rejected ballot papers. In Yendi, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, 2012 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has won massively in the Yendi Constituency Presidential Primaries.. He polled 509 out of the total 514 votes, while Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and Mr Francis Addai Nimo polled zero each. Mr Ernest Opoku, Yendi Municipal Director of the Electoral Commission who declared the results, said one spoiled vote was recorded, while three of the votes were rejected.
