NPP Steering Committee congratulates Nana Akufo-Addo

The Steering Committee of the NPP has congratulated Presidential Candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his resounding victory last Saturday. 

The Committee said the victory was in recognition of Nana Addo's long standing dedicated service to the party and front line role in the struggle for political and economic emancipation for Ghana. 

A statement signed by the party's General Secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, said the party also congratulates Alan Kyeremanten and Francis Addai Nimoh for enriching the contest and accepting the outcome with firm assurances to support the Presidential Candidate wholeheartedly. 

He said the Steering Committee calls on all members to remain selfless in the service of the party so that they can build strong party machinery capable of recapturing power.

The party expressed gratitude to the Electoral Commission and the Ghana Police Service for supervising the elections in accordance with the Public Elections Act.

Mr Agyepong also thanked the media for the extensive coverage of the exercise.
