NGO inaugurated to better life of female prison inmates and officers

To project the interest and welfare of female inmates in the country's prisons and female officers of the Ghana Prison Service, the Prison Service Ladies Association, PRILAS has formed a non-governmental organisation to facilitate interventions that will position these female groups at the core of human centered activities.

Inaugurating the organisation, the Controller General of the Ghana Prison Service, Madam Matilda Baffour Awuah said the new NGO will not rest on its oars in making life better for female inmates and officers.
