Interior Ministry issues directive to private security companies for effective monitoring and control

Deputy Minister for the Interior, James Agalga has charged owners of private security companies not to employ any person unless the prospective employee has a license from the sector ministry.

He said this directive will ensure that persons to be employed are of high integrity so that the public can have good service delivery as well as helping the ministry to streamline the operations of private security companies for effective monitoring and control.

Mr Agalga said this at a seminar in Accra on the implementation of the Police Service Regulation 5 for Private Security Organisations.
