The Daily Graphic expresses the need to intensify the fight against corruption in the country. According to the paper, the latest Afrobarometer survey that perceives some state institutions as corrupt is a worrying scenario for the country's democracy. It says the country does not need more laws, rather the mustering of political will to deal with those who flout the existing laws regardless of their position or political affiliation. The Graphic believes that for national pride and trust in the institutions to be redeemed, leadership at all levels of national life must crack the whip when the need arises.
 
 The Ghanaian Times is concerned about the Electricity Company of Ghana's decision to reduce power supply to industries by twenty-five percent. It says this is bound to affect productivity. According to the paper, many industries especially those in mining and steal which use a lot of energy will be the most affected. The Times is worried that the power situation is getting worse each day despite the efforts being put in by government to curtail it. It asks the nation to redouble its efforts to generate enough power for consumption as this situation could have serious economic repercussions to the nation.
 
The Heritage condemns the act of defecating and urinating in schools by some unscrupulous people. The paper describes the practices as not only barbaric but shameful. The comment of the paper follows reports that the St. Agnes Catholic Primary in the New Juaben Municipality has been turn into toilet by some faceless individuals. The Heritage therefore challenges the authorities to sit up and quickly stop the practice.
