Celebrities asked to use fame to influence followers to conserve energy

The Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has called on personalities in the entertainment industry to use their fame and performances to educate Ghanaians on effective energy conservation practices to curb pressure on the national grid.

A statement issued in Accra asked celebrities to use their platforms to inform their teeming followers on the advantages of conserving energy by switching off unused appliances and gadgets.
