Power Minister Designate Proffers Solution For Power Outages

The Minister Designate for Power, Dr Kwabena Donkor has attributed the current power outage being experienced to the failure of successive governments to invest enough in the power sector.

He said the steady growth in population and economic activities has not seen an equal generation of power.

As a result demand has outstripped supply.

Dr Kwabena Donkor said this on Monday at his vetting by the Appointments Committee of Parliament in Accra.
