Government Urged To Strengthen Agriculture Sector

The Acting General Secretary of Ghana Agriculture Workers Union, Edward Kareweh has called on government to motivate small holder farmers with credit facilities, technology transfer and farm implements to improve their yields.

He said it is sad that although the country largely depends on agriculture for its livelihood much attention is not paid to the sector.

Mr Kareweh stated this in an interview with Radio Ghana in Accra.
