WILDAF Educates Public On Affirmative Action Bill

The then Ministry of Women and Children Affairs now Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has since 2009 been working towards the passage of the Affirmative Action bill into law.

Currently, the bill has been drafted and the Ministry is carrying out consultations to finalize it.

It is in this direction that the Women in Law and Development in Africa, an NGO organized a media interaction to inform and update them on joint strategies to educate the public on the bill.
