First Lady Donates To Orphanages In Ghana

Seven orphanages in the country have received donations of food items and an unspecified amount of money from the first Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama.

The orphanages include Anfaani and Tamale Children's Home, Let the Kids Smile at Nkoranza, Frank May and Bethesda at Techiman and Osu Children's and Faith Forster Home at Frafraha in Accra.

The donation has become an annual affair for the less-privileged towards the Christmas celebrations. 

Mrs Mahama stressed the importance of remembering such people especially during the festive season.

She said her foundation is committed to supporting the less-privileged in society.
