Road safety and welfare of travels is one issue of prime importance to the Daily Graphic especially during this yuletide season, the paper admonishes drivers to ensure accident free this Christmas. In the same regard passengers and road users are advised to be patient enough with drivers in order to reach their destination peacefully. The paper encourages Ghanaians not to protect wrongful act of drivers and their ‘mates’ because it will go a long way to prevent mayhem. The paper advises that all hands should be on deck to help ensure accident free Christmas. 

The Heritage is worried about the dwindling fortunes of the CPP since Ghana was ushered into multi-party democracy in 1992. The paper says it is disheartening to note that the CPP has only one member in the current Parliament.  It notes that the time for the Nkrumaist Front to become relevant is now.  They must therefore accept criticisms and make the necessary amends ahead of the 2016 election to avoid another abysmal performance. 

The Ghanaian Times says many residents of the Greater Accra Region especially those in areas like Tema, Teshie, Nungua, Madina, Adenta and Kwabenya will now enjoy uninterrupted potable water following the completion of expansion works on the Kpong Water Treatment Plant. The paper says the residents have every reason to rejoice over the completion of the project since the daily production of potable water would increase to 65 million gallons per day resolving the perennial water shortages in Accra.  The Times commends the government for taking the bold step to expand the Kpong Water facility. The paper urges government to invest more in the water system to ensure reliability.
