Expert kicks against moves to share proceeds of TV Licence Fee with Private Media houses

A media expert, Dr Mensah Mawugbe, has kicked against GBC sharing proceeds of the TV licence with other media organisations in the name of Public Service broadcasting.

He said the role of the Corporation in maintaining professionalism in the media landscape cannot be overemphasised, hence the need for it to be well resourced.
 
Dr Mawugbe explained the criteria that could be adopted to ensure easy collection of the TV licence fee.
