Rawlings is still relevant to the NDC party says Political Analyst

Delegates of the NDC by their trend of voting seem to have listened to the voice of former President Rawlings when he called for a complete overhaul of the leadership.  

A Political Analyst, Dr. Seidu Alidu analyzing the congress said, Former President Rawlings is still relevant to the NDC party, as all the candidates he campaigned for emerged winners.

Dr. Seidu Alidu, also described the Congress as well organised and peaceful. 

He said the outcome of the election goes to show that the delegates needed a change and a new form of dynamism injected into the party. 

He described the new executives as a formidable campaign machinery for the party. 

In an interview with Gloria Anderson, Dr. Alidu emphasised the need for the newly elected executives to compromise on their stands before the Congress and work together to market their candidate for victory in 2016.
