Pro Vice Chancellor calls for bold decisions to tackle environmental issues at Korle Lagoon enclave The Pro Vice Chancellor of the Research, Innovation and Development Department at the University of Ghana, Professor John Gyapong says bold decisions must be taken to address the environmental health livelihood and Ecology within the Korle Lagoon environs. He said though successive governments have tried in vain to fix the problem, something must be done immediately to avert the eminent disaster that is looming as a result of the polluted nature of the Lagoon. Professor Gyapong made the comment at the launch of a book titled" Environmental Health and Disaster Risks, Livelihood and Ecology within the Korle Lagoon Complex in Accra". The book is authored by Prof Jacob Songsore and five others. GBC
