Council of State commends President Mahama for taking fiscal measures to improve economy Members of the Council of State have commended President Mahama for taking fiscal measures that have seen some improvement in the country's economy. Chairman of the Council, Cecilia Johnson also mentioned success in the fight against corruption and other infrastructural developments as areas also recording progress. This came up when President Mahama met with the Council of State at Peduase Lodge near Aburi. The Council is a Constitutional body with a mandate to advise the President periodically on pertinent national issues. GBC
