Health Ministry pushes for moratorium on invitation to prevent Ebola outbreak

The Ministry of Health is advocating a moratorium on invitation of foreigners to participate in this year's Christmas conventions and other programmes as a means of preventing an outbreak of the Ebola virus in the country.

The Public Relations Officer for the Ministry, Tony Goodman told Radio Ghana, in view of the large gatherings, it will not be prudent to allow visitors in such programmes.

Mr Goodman also spoke about the Ebola response centres.
