GES commends education sector workers for professional competence despite challenges The Acting Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Charles Aheto-Tsegah, has lauded Teachers and other workers in the education sector for their qualities and professional competence this year despite challenges. In a seasonal message, Mr. Aheto-Tsegah also urged Teachers not to be complacent in the discharge of their duties. He however, called for a collective responsibility to provide solid foundation for children in schools. Mr. Aheto-Tsegah advised them to count their modest successes and blessing of 2014 and to put its failures behind them whenever they encounter any setbacks in the next year. He called on Teachers to contribute their quota to ensuring quality education and eschew teacher absenteeism, lateness, laziness, drunkenness and other vices that retrogresses education. He also encouraged stakeholders in education, to help ensure quality education in the years ahead. GBC
