Ghana Water Company assures residents of Tamale of measures to resolve acute water shortage The Chief Manager in charge of Public Relations of Ghana Water Company, Micheal Agyemang says government has allocated 48-point- one million dollars for a pipeline reinforcement project throughout the country. The funds fall under the Accra Metropolitan water and sanitation project and is being sourced from the World Bank. Speaking to Cecil Obodia Wentum on uniiq breakfast drive, Mr. Agyemang said the company is embarking on a community assisted pipe relay project while awaiting the funds. Mr. Agyemang debunked reports that water is still not flowing through the pipes of some residents. He said on their visit, they identified some broken pipes which must be fixed. GBC
