Delays in disbursement of District Assemblies Common Fund hamper execution of projects


The delays associated with the disbursement of the District Assemblies Common Fund has been identified as a major set back to project execution and by extension local governance. 

A three year study report by SEND-GHANA, a civil society organisation, says the situation stalled a number of projects in many districts which if not well managed will jolt the country's decentralisation agenda. 

This came up at the launch of the report in Accra. Abraham Donkor and Sefakor Fekpe sat in for Radio Ghana.
