Bats gradually moving out of Bia district - Bia DCE


The bats which invaded the Bia district from neighbouring Cote d'lvoire are said to be gradually moving out of the district. 

The DCE, Kwabena Tewneboa Kodua in an interview with Radio Ghana said the people have been told not to go near them or attempt to eat any dead bat since they are said to be carriers of the Ebola virus. 

He said efforts are being made to seek the assistance of the Wild Life Department in the district. Mr Kodua spoke to Gloria Anderson.
