Five State Owned Enterprises sold between 2009 and 2013 Five State Owned Enterprises have been sold between 2009 and 2013. The Companies were divested at a purchase price of Thirty Million US Dollars and Six Million Ghana Cedis. About nine-point-three million US Dollars and one-point-six million Ghana Cedis have been paid. Government is yet to collect the remaining amount from the new owners of the sold enterprises. The Minister of Finance Seth Terkpe announced this on the Floor of parliament when he answered questions posed by the MP for Akuapim South, Osei Bonsu Amoah on the number of state owned enterprises divested since 2009. According to the Minister of Finance the Board of the Divestiture Implementation Committee has directed to the Secretariat to present a recovery plan for all outstanding amounts. He mentioned the divested companies. The Minister also answered questions on the delays in the payment of Money into the National Health Insurance Fund.
