Programme to promote budget transparency and accountability held

SEND-Ghana, a Civil Society Organisation says the inability of the Ministry of Finance to make pre-budget statements accessible to the public, a month before the Minister presents it to Parliament does not promote accountability and transparency. 

Such a scenario SEND-Ghana says denies the public the opportunity to make their final input into the main budget. 

In view of this, it has organised a programme to promote budget transparency and accountability through partnerships.
