120 out-of-school children to be re-integrated into formal education

The Government's Complementary Basic Education Programme is expected to re-integrate 120 thousand out-of-school children in the next three years into the formal education system.  

Currently 24 thousand children in the Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regions have been enrolled under the programme. 

Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur announced this at this year's President's Independence Day Awards at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.
