Peace building and conflict resolution network formed A network of people from the media, the Security Agencies, Civil society organisations, and the Women Peace and Security Institute has been formed to champion women's increased participation in peace building and conflict resolution. The network, Women, Peace and Security Communication was created to map out programmes to draw attention to the creation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 which addresses the negative impact of war on women. The Head of Women, Peace and Security Institute at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre, Margaret Alexander Rehoboth, told Radio Ghana’s Gloria Anderson that the network will promote and champion women's inclusion in the governance and peace processes.
