The Ghanaian Times says there may be nothing wrong in a reshuffle but it is hugely alarmed by the frequency and rapidity at which sports ministers are changed. It says on the average a sports minister is changed every year describing it as incredible. The Times believes situation like these do not encourage development in the sector. The Paper says it is not clear what might have triggered Mahama Ayariga's replacement but it feels it would not be different from other reasons that contributed to the dismissal of his predecessors. 

The Daily Graphic believes respect for the opinion of others no matter how dissagrreeable they may be remains a hallmark of democracy.  The Paper says the public's disagreement with the court’s decision on the Woyome case must not pave the way for unsavory remarks at the court and the state attorneys. It says in a jurisprudence cases are either won or lost and the loser has the opportunity to appeal and seek redress. The Graphic therefore entreats all litigants to respect rulings, even if they disagree with those judgements.
