West causing many of Africa's troubles – Mugabe

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe says the West is the cause of many of Africa's problems and urged the continent to build resistance against them.

President Mugabe was speaking at a conference on Disaster Risk Management in Sendai, Japan.

He said the West wants regime change in several African countries, including Zimbabwe and wants things done their own way. President Mugabe was quoted as saying "they want me to go, not my people".
