Ghanaian Children Mark World Aflatoun Day Ghanaian children have joined the global community to mark world Aflatoun Day in Accra. Aflatoun is the name given to clubs formed for children in schools and communities to implement a programme known as Child Social and Financial Education. The aim is to help children to develop their full potential to become useful adults in future. Addressing a forum at the Mamprobi Sempe Girls Schools in Accra, the project Coordinator of SOS Children's Villages Ghana, George Yaw Boateng said if Ghana can achieve and sustain the Millennium Development Goals, then it needs children who will develop the spirit of patriotism, nationality, creativity and love for one another.
