Government To Confiscate Woyome's Assets Government has identified some properties of businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome as a first step to retrieving the over GH¢ 51 million paid to him as judgement debt. It is not clear what these properties are and what government intends to do with them although the law allows Ghana to auction them to make up for the money. Mr Woyome was ordered by the Supreme Court last year to pay the debt. But speaking to Radio Ghana on “Behind the News”, Minister of Communications, Dr Edward Omane Boamah says government is poised to retrieve the money from Woyome. GBC
