KKD rape case adjourned to April 22, Seven-member jury to hear case A jury is to be constituted to hear the trial of ace broadcaster Kwesi Kyei Darkwah. The trial which was supposed to have started Wednesday at the Accra Fast Track High Court has been adjourned to the 22nd of next month. The adjournment was at the instance of the prosecution who told the court presided by Justice Bright Mensah that the jury must be constituted before hearing can start. This he explained was necessary because the trial is by indictment. The Defence Lawyer, Tony Forson, took strong exception to the submission by the prosecution arguing that the state had ample time to put things in place to kick start the hearing. Mr Forson said he was prepared and felt unfairly treated by the prosecution. GBC
