Togo Presidential Hopefuls Agree on Voter List, Allowing April 25 Poll Togo's presidential candidates have agreed on an updated but still "imperfect" voter roll, removing an obstacle that had forced a postponement of the election. The International Organisation of la Francophone said the current state of the election list is good enough for the 2015 vote. The French-speaking nations group has worked with election organisers to address opposition complaints that the election lists included numerous duplicates, favouring President Faure Gnassingbe. The President, who took over when his father died after 38 years in power, is favourite to securing a third term having already won elections in 2005 and 2010. The vote was originally scheduled for April 15 but was delayed by 10 days after ECOWAS called for the voters list to be revised. REUTERS
