Bui Dam Back On Stream The Bui Generating Station in the Tain District of Brong Ahafo has started generating 260 megawatts close to its installed capacity of nearly 400 megawatts. This came to light when news men were briefed by personnel of the Bui Power Authority during a visit to the BUI Generating Station. The visit was aimed at ascertaining how the Station is faring amidst Ghana's electric power generation problems now widely known as "Dumsor". The Public Relations Officer of the Bui Power Authority, Salifu Wumbila has been explaining the level of water at the Bui Dam and the level of power currently being generated. He tells Radio Ghana that the current water level is about 173. 90 and this generates about 260 megawatts of power. GBC
