America Is Ready For A Woman President - Political Scientist

Political Science Lecturer, Dr Bossman Asare says America is indeed ready for a woman president. 

Commenting on Former US First Lady, Mrs Hillary Clinton's announcement of her bid for the White House, Dr Asare said Mrs Clinton was ready for the American Presidency back in 2008, but for a mishap by the Clinton campaign. 

Juxtaposing Mrs Clinton's bid for the White House to the Ghanaian scenario, Dr Asare said Ghana may be ready for a woman president, but she must match the calibre of Mrs Clinton, in terms of competence, track record and be active in the country's policy process.
