Northern REGSEC meet over clashes in Bunkprugu The Northern Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has called for the deployment of more security men to Bunkprugu where clashes between Jamora and Jatos families left two people dead and three others injured. Twenty four houses have also been burnt in the disturbances. The latest clashes have been attributed to a reprisal attack for a similar incident in April last year. Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana after RESEC meeting, the Regional Minister Alhaji Limuna, asked the Volta River Authority (VRA) to ensure stable power in the area. He said such attacks are normally carried out under the cover of darkness. Alhaji Limuna who is the Chairman of RESEC said it is waiting for the District Security Council to advice on a possible imposition of curfew in the area. GBC
