Sub-Saharan Africa growth to slow in 2015 The fall in the prices of oil and other commodities on the world market is expected to have a toll on growth in Sub-Saharan Africa. World Bank projections indicate that growth in Sub-Saharan Africa will slow in 2015 to 4% from the 4.5% seen in 2014. World Bank's Chief Economist for Africa, Francisco Ferreira launching the Africa's Pulse report via a video conference in Accra said it is in these challenging times that the sub region must show that it can sustain economic progress on its own strength.
