Kumasi: Man found dead in room

A man believed to be in his early 50s, Alfred Owusu, has been found dead in his room at Adoato ship-mu in Kumasi. 

The man, believed to have died about three days ago, was found in a state of decomposition. 

The wife of the deceased's landlord told Radio Ghana that she believed the man died from an epileptic attack while alone. 

She said she was the first to find Mr Owusu dead when she saw his body leaning against his bed with foam oozing from his mouth. 

She said not seeing the deceased for about three days in the house and without any knowledge of his whereabouts, she decided to check his room. 

She said she was compelled the more because early that morning, she noticed a bad stench which she initially mistook for that of a dead mouse, but she could not locate the supposed dead mouse upon a thorough search of the house. 

The matter has since been reported to the Sofoline police. 

The Police say they are investigating the circumstances of his death
