2015 Regional Economic Outlook for Sub-Saharan Africa report, projects bright prospects The medium term economic growth prospects for 45 sub-Saharan African countries including Ghana are still bright. The region is projected to grow averagely by 4.5% in 2015 less than the 5% recorded last year. This was contained in the 2015 Regional Economic Outlook for sub-Saharan African Report launched in Accra. Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur was grateful to the African Department of the International Monetary Fund, IMF, for producing the report, which provides guidance to African leaders and the business community as they navigate the changing environment of the global economic system.
