Shortage Of Antibiotics Is Alarming - Clinical Pharmacist

A Clinical Pharmacist, Edward Ampofo, has admitted that the shortage of antibiotics in the system is alarming. 

He said what is more worrying is that some of the antibiotics have become ineffective due to resistance of some bacteria in humans. 

Mr. Ampofo however explained that some of the front-line antibiotics are no longer in use globally. 

Mr. Ampofo called for continuous education for Ghanaians to visit medical facilities regularly and avoid self-medication which is dangerous.
