Interaction on malaria Prevention and Control Strategies The Africa Media Malaria Research Network (AMMREN) has as part of World malaria Day presented Long Lasting Treated Insecticide nets to pregnant women and nursing mothers at Amasaman in the Ga West Municipality. This was during an interaction on malaria Prevention and Control Strategies. Mrs. Charity Binka is the Executive Secretary of AMMREN. The District Health Director of Ga West Municipal Assembly, Dr. Doris Arhin encouraged pregnant women to attend Ante Natal Clinics early for preventive measures to be taken. She appealed to mothers especially, to heed interventions for malaria prevention by sleeping under insecticide mosquito nets. Other speakers also emphasised the need to report illnesses to the hospitals for early diagnosis. GBC
