The Ghanaian Times and the General Telegraph call on Ghanaians to fight corruption in the public sector including leaders at the helm of affairs. Making reference to an alleged corruption in the Bulk Distribution Companies (BDCs) and Bulk Oil Storage Transport (BOST) this week, the two papers strongly condemn the canker. The Papers are amazed at the spirited defence put up by the Chief Executive of the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors Senyo Hosi on behalf of BDCs and backs the call for an investigation into the allegations. 

The Daily Graphic agrees with the announcement by the Deputy Minister in charge of Tertiary Education Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa that resident students of public tertiary institutions should pay utility bills effective the next academic year. Even though the Coalition of Tertiary Students Ghana has registered its opposition to the proposal, the Paper believes the best way to deal with the situation is not to issue threats or embark on demonstrations but engage with the government to find a middle ground to the issue.
