Political Scientist Advocates State Policy On Corruption To Curb Canker

A Political Scientist, Dr Alidu Seidu, says if government wants to diligently fight corruption, there must be a state policy on corruption devoid of partisan positions. 

Dr. Alidu Seidu believes if drastic measures are not put in place to curb the canker, Ghana will suffer the consequences. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana on why people refuse to put in evidence on allegations of corruption, Dr Seidu said it is so because people are unable to provide proof to support claims especially when they are not sure of whistle blower protection. 

Dr Seidu also commented on the trend where institutions over spend their budget. 

To him, it amounts to corruption and is unacceptable.
