AGI asked to take advantage of PPP policy A Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Kweku Ricketts -Hagan has called on the Association of Ghana Industries, AGI, to take advantage of the Public Private Partnership, PPP policy, to invest in some of the projects under the policy. He said the involvement of local private partners is critical to promoting sustainable development. This is because whatever profit that is generated will be re-invested in the economy. He said the perception that PPPs are reserved for foreign multi-national companies is not true. Mr Ricketts-Hagan was speaking at a forum on PPPs for local private partners in Accra. It is under the theme; leveraging PPPs for national development, the role of the local Private Partners. The programme was organised by Public Investment Division of the Ministry of Finance in charge of PPPs in collaboration with the AGI. GBC
