The Daily Graphic calls on stakeholders in tertiary institutions to work out modalities on how utility bills can be taken care of as efforts by the government to ensure that all stakeholders share in the payment of utility bills are still being discussed. The Paper says the focus of disconnection of power and water is to ensure full cost recovery in order that service providers give out their best. It therefore urges authorities of academic and state institutions to enter into negotiation with the utility companies to ensure a workable timetable towards the payment of the utility bills.

The Ghanaian Times says the issue of expelled Fulani herdsmen from the Northern Region should not only be tackled at the regional level but the national as well and a holistic approach adopted to resolve it. The Paper suggests that the security agencies be tasked to stop these herdsmen from entering the country and those already around flushed out. 

The Today Newspaper attributes the current energy crisis to the failure of past Ghanaian leaders and the current administration. The Paper says the problem is due to lack of effective and strategic planning for electricity provision which is the result of the tragedy Ghana is battling today.
