GJA worried over total disregard for journalistic values by media houses The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) says it is overly worried about the blatant disregard for ethical values in sections of the media. The trend GJA believes feeds the perception of critics who see the media as the surplus of freedom and deficit in responsibility. GJA President, Affail Monney is therefore urging media practitioners to endeavour to exercise freedom, while upholding responsibility. Mr. Monney was addressing Journalists at the International Press Centre in Accra, where a flag raising ceremony was held to climax World Press Freedom Day. GBC
